Physician Assistant student has been studying at LMC
Physician Assistant student, James Miller, joined LMC’s medical staff starting October 3rd to observe and study under Patrick Armstrong, PA-C. Patrick is a big proponent of Physician Assistant students and remains a proctor for PA programs around the area, as well as with his alma mater, the University of Iowa.
James is not a stranger to small towns, having grown up in Chinook, MT. Coming from a large family, he has always enjoyed close relationships to his siblings, which spurred his interest in PA studies. “So with my family in mind, I began working toward a career that would allow me more family time to be a part of sporting events, family events, and the other life achievements of my siblings,” remarked James.
James is currently studying for his master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, MT. Most recently he has been working in a variety of clinical positions, including CNA and as a patient care tech at Billings Clinic.
James has been kept busy with Patrick Armstrong PA-C, but has also gained experiences from Jill LeBlanc PA-C and Jeff Chelmo PA-C as well.
“It has been a pleasure to have James on board this month. Patrick and all our providers are a wealth of clinical knowledge, and we are working to ensure that James is getting the best experience he can here at LMC,” remarked April Malan, Clinic Director.
James Miller will be working with Patrick Armstrong until November 11th before moving on to his next clinical experience. We wish James all the best in his studies!Posted: by OverlieP
