Sisters Cheyloe O’Conner and Chaille Hooley are featured artists at Liberty Village Arts Center
Liberty Village Arts Center welcomes Cheyloe (Forbes) O’Conner and Chaille (McKinley) Hooley as our featured artists for the month of November.
Cheyloe grew up in Chester and graduated from CJI High School. She worked as a Surgical Technologist at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital after obtaining her degree in Surgical Technology at Flathead Valley Community College. She recently married, and moved to Kalispell. She works at the hospital there as a Surgical Technologist and is continuing her education online towards a degree in Mortuary Science and Funeral Directing.
Chaille grew up in Chester, and graduated from Lustre, MT. She obtained her Associates in Early Childhood Education from Flathead Valley Community College. She began delving into a passion of hers, photography. Her photography has been displayed here at LVAC for the past eight years, and she has been a featured artist as well. She and her family live in Columbia Falls.
The two sisters have always enjoyed art and creating new things. Since they live in close proximity to each other, they took the next step of putting their ideas together and bringing them to life. They create hand crafted, rustic, and antique designs. Some of their pieces use recycled windows and pallets to create new art pieces for the home.
We encourage everyone to stop by and check out the Crafty Art of Cheyloe & Chaille.
The show opens November 1 and ends November 30. Some of their items will remain on hand for our Christmas Village, opening Christmas Stroll Day, December 7!
LVAC is open Tuesday and Friday, 11 am – 2 pm, and Wednesday and Thursday, 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm. We are located at 410 Main St. in Chester, MT. Please call 406-759-5652 for more information.Posted: by OverlieP
